Define the active, dosage form, processing conditions and whether the priority is oil-to-powder conversion, sensory control, dispersion, stability or enteric delivery.
A microencapsulated oil powder, enteric pellet and liposomal powder serve different technical purposes. The delivery technology must match the intended manufacturing process and finished-product requirements.
Review active loading, carrier or coating system, release behaviour, physical handling, storage requirements and product-specific performance evidence.
For oils, surface oil and oxidation controls may be relevant. For enteric pellets, review dissolution or release data. For liposomal powders, request the structural characterisation supporting the terminology.
